Union’s Boycott of Nabisco Products Made in Mexico Gains Momentum

During the NPMHU 2016 National Convention, Mail Handler Delegates approved a resolution supporting the struggles of our brothers and sisters of the Bakery, Confectionery, Tobacco Workers and Grain Millers International Union (BCTGM). Specifically, the resolution supports the boycott of all Nabisco products that are made in Mexico and urges Nabisco and its parent company Mondelez to return to the United States all production of Nabisco products sold in the United States. The AFL-CIO passed a similar resolution during the recent 2017 Convention.

The BCTGM's Nabisco campaign is getting closer to achieving its goals. However, the fight is not yet over. The BCTGM's campaign forges ahead at full speed and strength. The NPMHU and the AFL-CIO remain committed to be an active part of this campaign until ultimate victory is achieved. Locals are encouraged to support the organized actions identified in the memorandums linked below.
