It is the position of the NPMHU that the Postal Service and postal employees are not directly affected by Trump’s Executive Orders, primarily because the USPS is not an executive agency and postal employees are not covered. Politically speaking, however, these EOs could have an impact on future bargaining in the Postal Service, postal reform legislation, the Trump Task Force on the Postal Service, etc. so the NPMHU is monitoring carefully.
